We stayed 5 nights in november 2011. The room was on the 5th floor, and has very new design and facilities. The room was large, the twin beds too. There isnt internet connection, but you can use the internet cafe for free. The hall is very friendly, they have a western and japanese talking area too. Private and public bath is also available. The breakfast is normal with western/japanese meals. The staff is very friendly, very kind and almost them speak english. I highly recoomend this hotel for anybody who wants a friendly, family style, clean hotel. Nara park is 10 minutes walk.

Efficient and considerate staff handled noise issues.
I stayed in a Superior Twin Room with Extra Bed, and it was a disaster. The carpet was peeling. After showering, I couldn't even walk across the room without feeling disgusted. The cleanliness was appalling. The furniture was damaged and the decor felt outdated, leaving me feeling frustrated about the lack of upkeep.

Stayed in a standard twin room at asyl, super spacious and had retro vibes with attached beds and a radio. The hotel is only a short walk to the train station and tourist spots. The private bath experience was a highlight. It was like a relaxing retreat.

Outdated carpets and furniture really could use a facelift!!! Only one bathroom for both floors can be quite inconvenient for larger groups!!!

The spacious room had a comfortable retro decor. Conveniently located, the hotel offers easy access to both JR and Kintetsu stations. The private bath experience was a highlight of my stay.
Carpets and furniture appear outdated.

The private bath experience was a highlight. The location was convenient, situated just a short walk from major attractions. Breakfast included delicious American pancakes. The hotel felt a bit dated, and the room lacked lavish decor. Service was helpful, but the language barrier made communication a bit challenging at times.

Cozy room, delicious breakfast, conveniently located hotel that is just a five-minute walk from the nearest train station and offers friendly service, a unique private bath experience, and a nice on-site restaurant.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

The Superior Twin Room was really spacious. I loved the retro vibes and how comfortable the beds felt. The hotel's location, just a short walk from the JR train station and Nara Park, made exploring so easy. The private bath experience was definitely a highlight. Staff were friendly and eager to help. The carpets and some furniture appeared outdated. This gave a slightly worn feel to the overall aesthetic, which could be improved. The dining options could use more variety, especially for breakfast. I ended up wishing for more Western choices.

Comfort Meets Convenience
I enjoyed a peaceful evening in a spacious room, marred only slightly by noise from the hall. The private bath experience was a highlight-indulging in the hinoki wood tub left me relaxed and rejuvenated. For the best experience, request a quiet room away from the noise!

This hotel offers excellent value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail in this hotel is impressive, ensuring that guests have a comfortable stay. The location of this hotel is ideal, with easy access to both train stations and within walking distance to Kasuga Shrine. The staff at this hotel provide top-notch service, making sure that guests feel welcome and well taken care of. The rooms in this hotel are spacious and have all the necessary amenities, including very fast wifi. I especially loved the option of having a Japanese-style room with tatami mats, which added a unique touch to my stay. Breakfast is included at this hotel and it offers a good variety, with both Japanese and western options to choose from.
All was more than satisfactory, couldn't ask for more.
